Privacy Statement Workplace Relations Data Repository Collective Agreements:

We collect your personal information (contact name, email address and phone number), in order to contact you in relation to your Collective Agreement submission in the event further information is required, or if we need clarification about what we have received.

The Collective Agreement is required to be provided to the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment under s59 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. We will use the information provided to publish high-level aggregated statistical and analytical information regarding activity in New Zealand’s labour market. Besides our staff, we may also share this information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

It is mandatory to provide your name and email, providing a phone number is optional. We keep your information safe by restricting access to only those staff members who work directly with the Workplace Relations Data Repository.

This information will be held by the Workplace Relations Data Repository team within Employment Services at MBIE. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
